This has been the trip of a lifetime, I’ve made a connection to the land up here that’s different from anything I’ve felt at home.

This NT holiday has rekindled my sense of adventure, I’d forgotten how to be so spirited.

I watched our indigenous guide Wilfred walk on the sandy path, stepping carefully between the grasses, one slow step in front of the other.

Kate’s tip: Ease back into work and prioritise your time. Answer only urgent emails on your first day back and make sure you leave on time.

Wilfred knows that everything will be here tomorrow, now I understand that there is all the time in the world.
